Kubota Credit - New Lower Rates

FYI....

I'm supposed to be picking up my new B3030 sometime soon (Hopefully this week), and hit the Kubota Credit website to check the rates. The 0% interest terms havent changed, but they did adjust their 48mo, 60mo, 72mo and 84mo rates.

48 months @ 0.99%

60 months @ 1.99%

72 months @ 2.99% L & M models only

84 months @ 3.99% L & M models only

The office manager at my Kubota dealer didn't see these rates on her computer screen yet through her financing program, so they must be new.

Thought I'd let everyone know..

Not until they bring back 0% for 60 months - will I pull the trigger on a new tractor.

I think in this economy (and spring around the corner) Kubota and the others will have to get very creative

I'm waiting for 60 mo at 0% also. Kubota was one of the few that went to 36 mo at 0% the first of the year.

That is interesting and suprizing. Sales must still be OK for Kubota. I would think there would be some pretty sweat deals about now. I don't think I would pull the trigger without 0% or a reduction on price that equates.

Massey Ferguson sweatend their deal a bit since last year. 0% at 72m for the GC's and then 0% at 60m for most of the bigger units. The GC's used to only be 60m

I think these are promotions that we will eventully not see in the years to come.

I got the .99% rate for 4yrs, while I was at the dealer, they were a good 20 to 25 people their and the owner apoligized for not giving me a lot of 1 on 1time, but when I checked out he gave me $20 some dollars worth of touch up paint and pins and ect. and told me thanks for the purchase of my tractor from him,and said it was a good thing he guessed all the business, he sold 4 tractors that one day, not to bad in my book, it should be here today,

rider9403 and jambx. When sales are good incentives decline. Spring is when sales increase so incentives decline. You should have bought or tried to negotiate that "deal" in the late fall or winter. Guess most of us will stay with orange. I think some of the off brands are offering your desired financing. I for one won't go from what I know is good to something I don't think is as good for a few hundred dollars in financing. Looks like Kubota sales are continuing.

A magical finance rate is often not all its cracked up to be. Often the really outstanding terms are paid for in the cost of the machine. I can sell you any machine you want at any term by buying down the interest rate. Rate shopping is not the smartest thing to do, you really should be shopping for the best overall value.
