Stopped by Washington Tractor in Mount Vernon on Saturday. It does indeed have a much much better selection of parts/fittings/etc. And seeing as they have three 8 series tractors on the lot in the front along with a big boom sprayer, 2-3 round bailers, etc I would say yeah they are more ag focused. However they also had quite a few more 5 series tractors up front a long with the smaller 3 and 4 series. So yeah, Snohomish Washington Tractor is fine if you want smaller implements, and a lawn mower or a 1-2 series, but if you want anything more serious looks like the Mount Vernon store is the better bet.

I mostly use the tractor for what you're thinking of now -- moving dirt, rocks, branches, etc and things like tilling the garden, flower beds, mowing the pasture, pulling a small boom sprayer, driveway maintenance, manure moving etc. Originally we were we just going to get a L2501, but we decided we wanted the cab and wanted to make sure we didn't out grow it -- so we just went with the entry level Grand L, which is the L3560.

While I like the tractor, I do have a bit regret that I didn't get the next step or two up instead. The L3560 is kind of an odd ball tractor -- when you look at all the stuff related to the Grand L60 series, it's broken down into two sections -- L3560 or L4060 and up -- and all the really stand out stuff is on the L4060 and up. While it can lift some large boulders or a full load of wet manure no problem, it cannot (or reaaally struggles) to break out a load of full manure directly from the pile at times. It's really in this "zone" where it's more then big enough for smaller work, but it's too small for basically anything for the large equipment low end by about 10-20 hp/pto hp. If I had to do it all over again and know what I know now, I would have gotten the L4760 or L5460. I guess it could also just be it was fine for when we started, but the quickly realized how much easier it can make a chore get done and we quickly added more chores to it and out grew it fast.

Thanks for the info. Due to the current situation, my wife and I have decided to hide out on our 11 acres in Snohomish county , with our dog for company. We are not going out to look at tractors. I note that you are staying with Kubotafor your new one. Where did you buy it?

You should keep your own service logs as a duplicate. Don稚 trust a dealer with this information.
