Yesterday I was over in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia on some business. My route took me past a Kubota Dealership In Aylesford at which my previous B7100 had been serviced more than once. My Truck just naturally turned in and I had a look at the new tractors and other items in the yard. Life was good.
Got in the truck to leave, turned the key and heard a sickly click. Tried it again and again this disgusting click. Life was not good. Opened the hood, wiggled the battery connections and tried again. still that click. Batteries all showed good according to the green dot.
Turned around and a sales person was there with a battery booster but still just click. Crawled underneath to administer a gentle tap to the starter and found the main line from the battery to the starter had corroded off at the starter connection. Life was even worse.
Got out from under the truck to find the Service Manager looking down at me. He's much taller than I am. He crawled underneath, looked and then came back with a handful of tools. Five minutes later the starter was off and in the shop having the connection bolt tightened up properly. Another mechanic arrived with a cable connector, solder and torch and the two fellows again disappeared under the truck. !0 minutes later they reappeared, turned the key and the truck started. Life was again good.
You can imagine I was one relieved old man. The Dealership charged me 1/4 hour worth off labour and the cost of one connector. Service one could only dream of.
All I can do is to Thank You Kubota Dealership in Aylesford.

AS a side note I have heard from some other posters on this site comment on the excellent service they have received here.
