I Am working on fixing some slop in the rear axle of my F2100. I have two bearings that I am unable to get out to remove the shaft and replace the bearings and seals.
I have looked at pullers too but with the spline shaft going through the bearing and the bearing being recessed I can't get to the back side of it.
I have the top and bottom plates off and the gear on the bottom out. The gear and bottom plate are attached to another bearing(#120) and end cap (picture with orange background). The bearing #100 is up inside, seen in picture "Bottom Bearing" Picture Bearing 2 fits in the bottom.
Bearing #050 is flush with the top and the shaft sits flush with the top of the bearing (Bearing 1 Pic)
I have also attached an outside view of the axle as it does look a little different than the parts view.
I picked this tractor up to do snow. There was slop in the rear wheel and no oil in there so I decided to have a look. There was actually water in there when I took it apart.
Thanks for any feedback, I hope this all makes sense to you..
