Kubota F2100 with heated cab and blower value???

Hi i am interested in this Kubota tractor. It comes with 72" mower deck, heated cab( not sure if its a Kubota cab), and 60'' snowblower and 50" sweeper. It has around 1800 hours.

Now i am not sure how much its worth. The thing is he lives in the U.S close to the Canadian border but has it listed it in Canada. He was asking $7000 for it but i could bring him down to $5500. As i was ready to go see it i made sure we were talking about $5500 CDN dollars but unfortunately he meant $5500 USD. Well i brought him down to $5 K USD. I am not sure what its value is???

Also is anyone familiar with that machine? What should i look for when i go to see it?:

I'm not familiar with that specific model, but $5,000 for an F mower with cab, blower and sweeper, particularly at 1800 hours, sounds like a bargain. New they're worth a lot and are excellent mowers, and a blower is an expensive implement.

I have a F2000 with the 72" deck I like how well it works.
The wide side discharge deck will make some winrows if the grass is very tall.
The cab would be nice for winter work, however it will be a hot greenhouse type environment in the summer.
The 4wd is not the stoutest, the rear steering axle with 4wd seems to be a bit on the light duty side.

1. F2100's were made during 1988 - 1997 so you want to check parts availability first. Messicks website would be a good place to start.
2. Looks like it was in municipal or commercial use so you should check it carefully for signs of excessive wear, abuse and rust. I see few rust spots in the photos so it may have been exposed to some road salt?
3. The deck is not a fabricated steel model (like the one in the photo below) so it is made of little thinner steel which is OK, but check it carefully for excessive rust etc. problems.
4. What would you use the sweeper for?
5. Mowing typical residential acreage with a cab may not work out so good.


It's worth $5500 if it is sound mechanically, but is this the right machine for you?

I think it comes down to question: Do you really want the snowblower with a cab, or do you want a lawnmower for acreage?
