Kubota/|Fiat?

Looking at an early 80's M4050 Kubota it has almost the exact same sheet metal as Fiats of that era and a lot of similar mechanical parts especially is the lever used to throw the PTO in and out never have seen one like it except on the Fiats and this Kubota has one thats exactly the same. Any
known connection?
