Do any of you plow snow with a front blade on a B series? In searching for a friend, I could find zip on Kubota's website showing how a "factory" front blade is mounted on a B.

I have showed him my BX setup, with the QC system Kubota uses, but would deeply appreciate photos of Kubota optional front blade is set up on say a 2000 or newer B tractor. Thanks so much.

I don't have a blade but the blade and broom are both supposed to attach to the same sub frame assembly as the front snow blower. I don't have the blower mounted right now either since we have virtually no snow. I'm sort of disappointed about the no snow part since I haven't had a chance to try out the new blower:(.
I didn't take any photos of the sub frame when I set it up on the tractor but once assembled it connects to the tractor with one pin and a clamp then the front of the sub frame sockets in to the back of the blower frame with the two parts being latched together with a lever then pinned. Lift lower and chute rotation are connected to the FEL QA's. Takes a few minutes between having to drop the FEL and pick up the subframe but not bad. From pictures I believe the blade and broom both connect the same way.

The B series uses an almost identical (just some dimensional differences) quick hitch to the one you use on your BX. It is slightly larger, of course. You can actually swap front mounted implements back, and forth between the two models.

Thanks Chuck,

I'd sure like to see a photo of the B version of QC. Even a link to where Kubota shows a picture of the thing.

Here are a couple pics Killer B posted. Its the previous design B, not the new 20 series...... but the plow / QH look the same on the 20 series.

That looks identical to the blower mount on the B3030, the subframe sockets in to the back of the blower, rotate the lever and pin it.

Wish I had kept pics of my old B3030 with the Kubota blade

One nice difference between at least the Bxx30 series and a BX is you do NOT have to remove the front brush gaurd on the B were you do on the BX to mount the Kubota quick hitch. The quick hitch is used for the Kubota broom, blower and blade. The broom/blower also need the mid pto kit for the quick hitch to provide power from the mid pto to the front. The blade obviously does not require that ;).
