Looking thru the latest postings I saw somebody mention that info on the new B2630/B3030 tractors was finally posted on the Kubota site so I figured I would go take a look. As I was perusing the attachments section for these tractors I saw something interesting in the snowblowers section. It says that there is an "Optional 3-point rear mount snowblower conversion kit available (model BL2583)". Since I have wanted to get a snowblower on my BX23 for some time now this got me thinking - if I could find a cheap snowblower on Ebay (they do turn up occasionally - especially John Deere stuff) I might be able to use the Kubota kit to adapt it onto my 3pt. I am wondering if anybody has any knowledge about this kit - I am thinking that it must include some sort of speed converter since the snowblowers are intended to be powered from the mid PTO which spins faster than the 540 rpm that the rear PTO for the 3pt spins at. Anybody know anything about this kit?
