Just order a B3200 with a front snow plow

1) Anyone have one and can you tell me how much snow I am going to be able to push (I am coming down from a larger 45 HP machine)?

2) Are they really tough enough to do light grading or will I bend it as soon as I hit a decent sized rock?

Dealer said he almost never sells a plow with a 3200 but didn't say why - I was using a scraper blade on my L3750 but since it didn't "trip" with springs I basically ruined it.

Thanks!!

Here's what a B6000 can do. Note, my blade is a reworked rear scraper blade, and it does NOT have the springs either.

My blade has a 1/4" piece of angle iron welded to the back side, to stiffen it up, and a piece of flatbar on the upper edge. The actual blade is only about 3/32" steel. Maybe even less than that.

Had the similar 60" front blade for the BX. The full hydraulic control front blade is pretty slick and mighty strong. It is a reasonable dozer blade. Don't horse it and don't try to bite too much and it will work very, very well. As far as snow goes, it is second only to a front snow blower. Much faster too. Try and go out and push at 6-8" intervals during a huge snow event. Push far out, and have storage areas for additional snow falls. If you begin by giving yourself lots of room for future snows, you'll have far fewer issues.

It was a blast in the snow.

After last winter I am going to have to make some adjustments to the way I move snow. With 29" in a week, 25 MPH winds, and 4' drifts I found out that the blade just isn't going to cut it. The snow has to be physically moved with the loader. So I am ordering Aqualine chains when they are available and am adding a ballast box. Don't you guys start throwing the snow blower thingy at me. I would love to have one but don't have the $6,000 to buy one.

I had a kubota 2109 front power angle plow on my b 7500, it was very heavy duty!
