KUBOTA G6200H BELT ISSUES

I JUST BOUGHT A KUBOTA G6200H WITH 580 HOURS ON IN AND AM HAVING ISSUES WITH THE DRIVE BELTS. I HAVE BURNED THROUGH 2 SETS AND UPON MY LAST INSPECTION NOTICED THE TENSIONER JUMPING AROUND ALOT. WOULD THIS BE THE CAUSE OF THE BELT WEAR? IF SO WHERE CAN I GET ONE? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.

good question. I am not at all familar with the g6200 kubota, but after owning a few mowers, but they all seems to work the same way. Is all pulleys and idlers moves freely ? greased ? are the spindles in good shape,greased and can be turned by hand without making wierd noises? are you using oem belts or generics ? have you been mowing tall grasses over 6 inches all the time ? is the spring broken or weak for the belt tensioners ? these are the things i would check first. good luck

i just got a 6200 couple of weeks ago. noticed the belts had chunks off of them. realized the bottom guard was bashed in and rubbing against the belts.

Dont use a cogged belt, use a kevlar belt. My 6200 eats cogged belts like candy. If your tensioner pulley is turning freely check your springs and the attenuator pin by the pulley. When I changed over to the non-cogged belt belt vibration was cut in half and belt life tripled
