Kubota gears stuck

hello everyone, I"m new here so be patient with me.
I have a Kubota, that is stuck in Nuetral , can anyone give me some advice on what to do..

well I'm not sure of the transmission but it"s a rtv 900 kubota and the gear is stuck in medium not nuetral like I thought . and its in 2wd also, there is a pull knob to disengage gears but This does not workl I guess Unless we are doing something wrong..

no the lever will move toward nuetral but stays n gear all others you would have to force and stays in m too,

I assume you have verified the physical shift links to transmission are good ?

I have had this happen on my rtv once or twice.As near as I can figure it happens when you have a load on transmission and then try to quickly change gears to back up or the likes when stuck or something that would put presure on drive system.I have found that instead of being in a hurry alow time for presure to equalize it will come out of gear easily after 10 seconds or so. I have always gotten back to working just by moving the lever around with presure off or pull release cable on dash. hope this helps

The shifting can be quirky and takes some getting used to. Have you read the Owner's Manual?

Move forward a bit or in reverse this while aline the gears my 4 wheeler and the tractor do this

I have a Kubota l-3010 that does the same thing. It scared men good the first time thought it was serious . Come to find that it occurs when the engine is shutoff in gear and on a hill placing a load on the transmission. Standing behind the tractor look under the cowling and follow the shift lever down to the slots that the shift lever slips into to allow shifting. You will find one is misaligned with the lever move it by hand to allow the shifting to occur. Watch your fingers! This is my problem hope it is yours also............good luck .Jesse
