Kubota B2100
So I started a thread in the main "owning/ operating" forum similar to this sub-forums cold start thread.

Still not sure if the glow plugs are my problem, but they are a problem now. See the most swollen of the 3. This was after 10 seconds of bench test, and I do not think the plug was so swollen prior. By the way, these are the original glow plugs out of a '98 B2100 with 560 hours. I can tell as they had the grey/ blue paint on them.

Anyways, I am trying to get this girl back up and running ASAP, so was hoping the good old internet would tell me which plug I need to buy. The originals show NGK YE01 11V, and I found Kubota P/N 16851-65512. Are these what you guys are running? Is there a preferred manufacturer (if it's anything like spark plugs or oil, then this could get out of hand quick!) I was unable to find any reasonable cross reference guide online, just know the P/N I pulled out and the Kubota OEM P/N.

Thanks in advance.

I seen a Bosch catalog and cross reference by size once upon a time . Can't find it now. iirc Bosch glow plugs are superior quality.

Try your local NAPA store, but bring engine numbers and any other numbers you have. They have gotten some for me from time to time.

If Kubota is like some other brand tractors there won't be a cross reference.
My Mahindra tractor uses an NGK glow plug but the number is not listed in the NGK book. Auto parts stores have no listing or cross for my NGK number. NGK must have made my plug specifically as a dealer item only. I know the dealer's don't make a fortune selling them but because they are made specifically the price is 8-10 times the price of regular glow plugs available at auto parts stores.

I think you are right on the money George.

I bought the OEM ones off eBay for $21 and change a piece. Hope they make a big difference. I will look into a hose style heater if time permits.
