Kubota Gr2120 hour meter stuck.

This one has me puzzled. The meter reads 384.8 hours and isn't changing.
Any ideas? I would have thought if it didn't work, it wouldn't show hours at all, being electronic.

Look at it this way... Low hours = better trade in bucks. Low hour machine always bring more.

Thanks, but I have no intention of ever trading it in. I need the hour meter to work for servicing. When you turn the key on, that small whirring sound is the hour meter, right? I always thought so. It makes the sound, but no change on the clock. With a little over 15 hours to go, I figured I'd cut a little grass before getting around to servicing it. Didn't pay much attention until the other day, when I said, "I've cut a lot of grass, and let's see.. " Oops.
