I have been looking for tractors for about three years. I live within 50 miles of three Kubota dealers. My experience was not horrible, but I was intrigued by the great website that Carver Kubota has on TBN......................So I decided to drive up there and see what the place was all about. It turns out it was better than the website. I had forgotten that they also sell Kioti which turned out to be a really nice tractor. They have really done their homework!
When I called for final directions, I wound up talking to the owner, Mr Steve Carver. What a genuine, decent gentleman! He met me at the door and spent a great deal of his day answering my dumb questions.
His prices were lower than in my town, but more importantly he was informative about all types of details that no one else answered like the advantages of staying with a standard bucket, pro's and con's of rotary cutters and their various gear boxes etc, etc, etc.
He took an amazing amount of time asking me about what I planned to do with a tractor, the type of terrain I would be working on and how many acres, etc. No one else ask me those questions.
When I arrived it was around lunch time so he invited me the local country eatery. He was obviously well know to the locals who all greeted him with warm smiles. When we got back, he turned out to be a really patient person, letting me crawl all over and drive all of his toys. I even drove a Kioti!
The only problem is I thought I had done all of my homework. I knew I only wanted HST but now after working the GST.........not so sure now. I may have to post some questions to you GST owners.
Anyway Steve Carver, Carver Kubota ROCKS!
