So i think ive got a line on the hoe that comes off the BX size machines. But looking at it it seems to clamp? on to the rear of a BX somehow not useing the 3pt.

Im fairly shure i can get the hoe for slightly less than an entry level cheepy (taylor way etc).

the question is, is there any reason i cant fab up some sort of frame work on the back of my TC to mount the thing? I do have a power beyond...

Not worth the effort. The hoe from a BX will be about 1/2 the stength of something that would fit on your TC33 - NH's 757/758 Woods BH80X etc.

BX is a 1,200# machine (base) , your TC is about 2,500 w/o loader.

If looking used - try to find a woods, bradco, bush hog, rhino (NH OEM if I rember right) etc - that you can get a subframe for to fit your TC33.

I should also note that said subframes seem to be incompatible with your MMM mounts. I know for certain on the TC18 that the New Holland & Woods units would require that I removed the MMM brackets to mount the hoe.

The Bx23 mounts by setting on a bar at the bottom on the frame with the out riggers, then you swing it up with boom to latch it on 2 points on top back of frame and insert 2 hair pins to lock latch.
No real sub frame like some others.

You turn the seat around on the tractor to use controls.

it takes me about 3 minuets to take mine off and and about 10 to get it on
(getting it ligned up side to side is some times hard).

yes ive gathered this. which is why i was shooting for a smaller 3pt style hoe with custom subframe to mount someplace under the tractor (with the MMM deck off but brackets in place)

My digging needs are limited so i think a small 7' hoe would be fine.

I believe that woods makes a subframe that allows MMM brackets to remain.
