"Wet it down" ???
Do you mean you want to decrease the hydraulic pressure so you friends don't destroy the tractor? If so, I can help a small amount. This is L 10 series information, but it is probably the same on your B. Under the operators right foot, under the floor board is a hydraulic block. It will have the hoses coming from the loader. In the owners manual it probably tells you how to turn a knob there if you ever take off the loader. Anyway, that block holds the SYSTEM pressure relief valve. Lay on your back and look up at it. There is a bolt looking deal on one side. Take it off and you will find there is a spring and some washers and maybe the relief popit too (mostly it will stay put). Not much fluid will come out, about 2-4 oz. The spring pressure controls the system pressure. You increase it by adding washers. 0.10 mm of washer = about 34 psi pressure change. Target is about 2500 psi.
There may only be 1mm or less of washer in there. If you want to really drop the power, you may have to go to a custom spring.
Hope that helps!
