Kubota in the Caribbean

Saw this Kubota at Castaway Cay (Disney's private island) in the Bahamas a little over 2 years ago. Just got back from family vacation and it is still there, but maybe with a new paint job due to all the salt water mist. This time I actually saw it work, moving a scissor lift/ramp device to load and unload cargo while we were at port. Pretty neat to see there. Kind of sad to be taking pictures of Kubota's while Caribbean vacation, wonder if I am the only one??? Philip.

You're not the only one, I was in Aurba last winter and was looking at tractors there. It struck me that there was virtually no heavy equipment on the island and I didn't see one Kubota, just some very very old CAT equipment. Had the wife take a picture of me next to what had to be the oldest skid steer I've ever seen.

It's not a problem unless you got in trouble trying to drive it

Here it is. I had my locations mixed up, this is actually in western Australia, not Aruba (both deserts). It may not be as old as it seemed, it's parked literally on the beach of the indian ocean, so probably rusts quickly. The thing that was scary about it to me is that you enter it by climbing over the bucket and there is no safety cage on the front at all, just a seat (assuming it was modified to be this way). No seatbelt or anything either and the controls were ancient. I cropped it to protect the innocent
