I have two little tractors. Kubota 5100 E and an Iseki Tx1300. Both good little tractors. But, see the attachment, the transmissions have a 180 degrees difference in the shift patterns! To say the least, it get confusing shifting without having to look when switching from one to the other daily. I was just wondering if there was any rhyme or reason to this.

Any thoughts?

Shifter patterns are generally set up for which side of the driver the shifter is on. The transmissions are likely built the same but one company wanted a different shifter.
