Kubota kx o80 cb system

Ok so in a couple weeks we will be getting our kx 080 and I would like to set up a cb system i already have the cb itself but need to buy myself an antenna...what do I buy a little will or go with a fire stick ? And where would I mount it thanks The machine will be in the woods working so I need something durable that's why I'm thinking the fire stick antenna but never installed or used any?

A set of FRS Radios like these would be a much better choice. No wiring, and no antenna to get hung up in the woods. Cheaper than the FireStick antenna. Unless you just want to talk to the truckers out on the interstate?

Just because when we get dump trucks to deliver and in our truck and backhoe their already set up with cb 's just so instead of buying 2 more radios I just want to get an antenna you know

Ah, got ya! I work around trucks a lot in my job. (electrical design for a company that writes software for the aggregate and asphalt industries) Every rock quarry has their own CB channel for the loaders to talk to the truckers. All my work vehicles have CB's just so we can talk to the drivers or loaders if needed for testing stuff. I have a Fire-Stick with a large spring at the bottom (for the tree limbs when working off road) on my primary work truck. It's a simple bullet proof antenna. The spring helps protect the antenna. The spring does add some length to the antenna, so tuning it is a little more difficult. I use a simple mag mount antenna for the company car.

Since I am not familiar with your tractor model I have no idea where would be the best place to mount it. If you don't need it while in the woods it might be best to simply remove it when there.
