Kubota KX121 fuel pump noise

My Kubota mini-ex fuel pump started making a ticking noise. It does not affect engine operation that I can tell. I've run it a few hours since. I am wondering if any here have experience with this sound. Will it fail soon or can it go on like this indefinitely? Short video clip linked. Advise welcome.

One common cause for noisy electric transfer pumps is a restriction in the tank outlet or somewhere between the tank and pump.

Have you replaced the filters and made sure they are clear and free flowing?

@RickB - I will check out the line between the tank and pump.
@Code54 - The fuel filter is only 6 months old and not that many hours. But it would not hurt to just replace it as cheap insurance.

I agree, usually it's a fuel starvation problem when they get loud.

check the tank, if its cavitated it could be full of small air bubbles, this will cause a noisy pump

My 121-2S sounds exactly like that, with the key on and engine off.
