I bought a used full Construction L-35 and blew the BT 900 Boom rod gland and found it was O-rings and RVT fixed !! Fortunately i planned for this ,having done the front loader for the same reason i bought seal kits for every cylinder on it
I had to split the boom from the swivel head to get the cylinder out to rebuild it and Pooched it
i could not remember whether the cylinder came out hard line and right angle fitting pointing Up or Down in the Boom
.
I called around and no one would or could tell me the orientation of the cylinder Body which is pinned inside the upper Boom segment and to the Swivel Head with the hydraulic lines running trapped in the channel between the Ram Head and Swivel Head 8 of them 2 for powered Stick Tip Tools .
This was a Bear to do by myself let me tell you putting it back together is going to require some careful application of force a 36" stump jack need another
!!
Anybody have Any Ideal which way it goes in ?????? fitting Up or Down ???
