Kubota l 48 starts then stalls, starts then stalls.

My Kubota L48 will start then run for a few minutes then cut out quick stalling. If it sits for a time it will start again and then do the same thing all over again.
I tryed to bleed the air out of the lines by loosening the nuts to the top of the injectors and I got fluid to squirt out one time then the tractor started again. Then stalled. I tried again to bleed the line by losening the nuts and turing over the engine but then I got no fluid bubbling out of the top of the injectors.

The last thing I did yesterday, near dark, was drain all the Diesel from the gas tank. I also busted off the bleed valve knob. Ouch.
Any ideas?

The first thing to check is fuel flow. Things like a fuel filter, fuel pump, clogged line, or the like.

The symptom is that the available fuel is used up and then the engine dies. Some fuel slowly drains back into the system and the engine starts again and runs until that fuel is used up. Repeat, repeat.

You might try blowing out all the lines with compressed air and replace the fuel filter as a start. Check the output of the fuel pump. I'm not sure how many gal. / minute it is supposed to pump, but the WSM should have it. Maybe someone on here can look it up.

Welcome to TBN...sorry your first post is about a difficulty. There are numerous safety switches which, if engaged, will cause an immediate engine shut down. I assume your situation occurs with the tractor just sitting there...you are not trying to drive it when it stalls.

I had something like that happen with my B7500. It turned out to be a split return hose leaking air. Maybe yours has a similar problem?

Fuel starvation - maybe clogged filter, maybe cruft in the tank at the tube inlet, maybe a weak or dead transfer pump (the little diaphragm fuel pump on the side of the injector pump). Does the symptom depend on the level in the tank? Check this thread . Hope you find the answer.
