Last week I asked the question below (front blade) in the Kubota owners section, but no one answered. Maybe because they cost an arm & a leg, like most Kubota factory implements. Frankly, I though they or something similar would be fairly common. I'm not talking about a snowplow....I need a front blade of some kind to push gavel and relatively loose dirt. Maybe I should do a search for skid steer implements and see what's avaiable. I have quick attach bucket.

I'll ask again here.....Anybody have a front blade for their L30 series? It looks fairly beefy in the brochure. I'm wondering how effective it is, how it attaches, how the hydraulics hook up. Also, what did you pay?

Any other manufacturers you know of making similar product for pushing dirt / gravel?

Thanks,

Jim

I worked for an outfit one time that had a shop built blade for a CUT Kubota that was super handy. We had a trecher on the tractor and it was used to backfill trenches and push up light vegetation and trash up on the right of ways we worked in. It only had up and down. Later that had one that was a 6 way blade it was a little better at backfilling the trenches but if it was angled much pushing gravel it would slde the tractor sideways. If i see them working nearby Ill stop and take a few pics. We added som skidshoes on it as it wasnt as quick as a dozers blade and the way a tractoraxle pivots had to get used to that. but all in all it was nice to have.

The L series blades is riduculously beefy. Seriously. Got to see one up close, the snowblower and front blade share the same mount. The tractor I saw had a blower on it and I asked the dealer why it was such a beefy mount.

Nice...I wish my dealer had one to look at. It must tilt and angle too. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I'm certain the price reflects the beef.

Some other notes about it, the blade has a pinnable trip for gravel work. Power lift and angle too, no tilt that I saw though.
