First post here. Been reading here for awhile but finally bought my first tractor. I bought a 1997 Kubota L2350DT 4x4 with a FEL. It has about 800 hours on it.
I'm planning to go through it end to end to completely service it. Once it's completely serviced, I plan to repair the sheet metal where it needs it and then re-paint it.
My question is, how long should the water pump be good for? I like to do preventative parts replacement so that my equipment doesn't break down at the wrong time. So, with these hours and this age, should I be planning to replace the water pump?
I will be replacing the various hoses and belt and completely servicing all the fluids. I'm trying to decide if I should replace the water pump while I'm at it.
Thanks for the help!!
