Price Check KUBOTA L2800 L3400 price difference

Newbe Here
I am looking to buy a Kubota L3400F, 2wheel drive , gear-drive.
What should the price increase be over the L2800F?
Are these prices average?

I have been quoted
$10,375 for the L3400F including the $600 rebate and
$9,100 for the L2800F including the $600 rebate

both with folding ROP as the only option.
I thought the L3400 should be $1000 over the L2800
I am in Louisiana.
I am upgrading from a 1967 Massy Fergurson so this will be a dream machine even without the hst and 4 wheel drive which I have never had, so won't miss.

Unfortunatly the price difference isn't that low and your prices reflect the price difference accurately. I'd spend that much for the better clutch system for pto work.

I have been seeing $1100-1300 more for the 3400DT over the 2800DT since last summer. Never really looked at the 2800 because the 3400's price gave me more pto hp on the same size tractor.

Carver's website lists a 2800F for a few hundred less then you were quoted. Your dealer may sharpen his pencil a bit when you get closer to buying.

I have been waiting for spring to buy and now the rebate will help me make up my mind to buy soon.
I had looked at the green and blue machines but the Kubota just seemed to be more comfortable, and a little heavier duty.
