Kubota L3010 value

I am in the unfortunate position as executor of my father-in-law's estate. He has a lightly used about 2000 model L3010 with loader. It has less than 500 hours on it. I have a B2710 (1999 model) and this L model is huge to me. Looking for advice on how I can sell this tractor for the estate and what it might bring. I'm thinking maybe $12K - $15K? Would a dealer buy it or better off with an online ad where I have to meet the prospect at the location 30 minutes from my house, maybe several times.

Also has a box blade and Land Pride rotary cutter. He drilled some holes in the bucket and bolts a fork for moving big round bales of hay.

Keep it in the family! If that is not a option then sell it to a individual not a dealer. You will take a beating at a dealer. Now, if you can find a established used tractor dealer that will sell on consignment, sometimes that works well. But I would be keeping it. Good luck and sorry for tour loss.

My condolences. It says a lot that they entrust someone that isn't blood to handle the executor. If it is a possibility to keep it in the family, do that. However, I know that sometimes selling is the best option. I think you may be a little low if the tractor has HSD or Glide shift. I would clean it up take about 8 pics and put it on Marketplace for $17k. If it is gear, maybe $13k. Someone will come along and offer you less and you can decide if you want to take it. I also understand you may just want a quick sale. In that case, list it for $14k.

O sell equipment on Tractor House all the time. Nice thing about them is, they will tell you what it's worth (current market value) and what you can expect to get. No fiddling around or tire kickers involved.

The tractor is hydro. I had never heard of the tractor house - will check that out. It would seem natural for the sister in law that got all of the property (house and 6 acres) would want the tractor. But since there are no horses anymore she really just wants something smaller. Frankly I like my B2710 better and I have 24 acres. Just love the size and the way the HST controls work. I bought my smaller tractor new in 1999 and I couldn't part with it.

I forgot that I fired up the tractor the other day and it has a leak in one of the hydraulic cylinders on the front end loader. Will need to get that repaired first.

I made the mistake of trading in my L3410 HST with loader 6 years ago. I got 12k in trade, and could have easily sold it for 15k without much effort.
Pre emissions tractors are still commanding a premium, particularly low hour tractors like yours. Definitely check some auction web sites, but consider a starting price of even 18-20k imho.

The 10 series Kubotas are excellent, reliable tractors. You wont have a problem selling it.

5030 makes a good point. You probably will eliminate some of the "hey look a tractor, let me annoy the seller even though I know I can't afford it or need one", you deal with on FB.

Someone going on Tractorhouse knows they are looking for a tractor and more likely to be a serious buyer.

So true. Plus a lot of those folks are low ballers just testing the waters. I sold my ZD331 2 years ago on FB Marketplace and Craigslist with very clear "not negotiable" statements. It didn't help at all in reducing low ball (crazy) offers.
Finally a guy from 3 hours away vetted me with a few questions, and showed up the next day with a trailer and the asking price.
