I have a L3130 HST with a similar price last summer:

L3130 tractor
w/ R4 tires,
w/ LA513 loader,
w/ HD 66” round back bucket,
w/ quick attach
and an FFC toothbar (400.00).
Total – $19,000 exactly.

I thought my price was good.

I do think you got a very fair deal. You should be pleased with your new purchase.

I'd say you're in the ball park. I bought a tractor this past summer almost identical to yours with the exception of the loader and bucket (LA723 w/ 72" HD QA bucket) for $18,300. If you can swing it, you may want to get the bigger loader now, but that all depends on what you're going to do. I've used every bit of "oomph" in the LA723 already during my pole barn project (excavated the site, moved the steel and moved 50 ton of rock for the floor base). Just a thought, because at this point you're only talking paperwork.

Any way you slice it, you're getting a great tractor. I love that GST transmission, and I surely don't miss the hydro I used to have.

One thing to consider is that the L3130 will only take the BH90 backhoe if the larger loader is installed. With the LA513 you can only use the smaller 3PH attach BL4690. This is my understanding from what I have read here at TBN.

The BH90 is a superior backhoe in my opinion, so if there is a remote chance you might want a backhoe in the future, it might be worth getting the larger loader to begin with, just in case. Extra loader capacity never hurts either. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just a thought in case you were not aware of this.

It looks like I will need to keep this bucket system; this one is already on the tractor. If I get the bigger one they will have to order it and there has been a price increase.

They have a L3130 HST for 14,267, but I am going to stay with the glide shift.

I have until Wednesday to make any changes as they will deliver it right after Christmas and pick up the L3400.
