When mowing the radiator's air access can gradually be reduced due to dirt and grass accumulation.
Keep a close eye on the temperature gauge, especially if it is a hot July afternoon.

Its a good idea to get to know your tractor, and where it normally likes to run....temp wise when mowing. On my 3400, that was about 3/4 needle. And it would stay there no matter how hard I pushed it or how hot out it was. Once It started to climb above that....shut her down and clean that screen.:thumbsup:
