Comparison Kubota L3200 vs JD 3038E

Decisions Decisions...Ive narrowed my choices down to either Kubota L3200 or the L3800 AND the JD3038E.....

here is my current debate....Is the L3200 a better choice than the JD3038E....both are very similar in price. I know the Deere has more HP. But.....how does it compare overall? any thoughts.....I would really like the L3800, but it is 2k more than the L3200 and the 3038E and DOES NOT come with a landscape rake.....

any thoughts? the L3200 is actually a few hundred bucks more than the 3038E with no rake...... All tractors are HST with a FEL....

there are lots of threads on that comparison that you can lookup. Deere did several things to make that tractor less appealing than the mainline tractors, it has several major flaws that make the Kubota a better choice.

Though both are the economy models, Kubota's does have a couple things over the Deere. Such as a quick attach/detach loader and a little more loader capacity. The Kubota is also slightly heavier.

Where the debate gets trick is when you consider Kubota's jerky 3 point hitch. There is TONS of reading/videos on this and it isn't pretty. Unless you can try before you buy, I wouldn't buy one.

Them being the same price for more machine, I'd go with the Deere. I wouldn't want a jerky 3PH and the Deere is a larger machine.

The best advice is to go sit on them yourself and try it out:thumbsup:
