I've been weighing the B7800 vs. L3400 question and am leaning toward more power for the money--trading off the HST. We plan to use this tractor primarily to maintain a road at a rural mountain property and to do field mowing and other miscellaneous projects at altitude (8000 feet).
The dealer quotes the L3400 and FEL for $15,900 with AG tires and ROPS. Does this seem standard? This is about $1000-$1500 more than I'd like to pay. How much play does the dealer have on the price of these tractors?
Implements we are also condsidering include: a Rhino VX60 box scraper ($669)OR Rhino 300 series rear blade ($397) and possibly a Rhino 5' bushhog mower.
We don't care to finance - how do we best pitch a package price or discount to the dealer?
We are open to shipping if you know of better deals in the West or Midwest.
Thanks for any advice!
Glenn
