I have a kubota l3400 HST.
When I use my 3 point post hole auger and I press in my clutch and turn the PTO lever to disengage the pto and take my foot off the clutch the PTO continues to run. In order to get it to stop I have to play with the bucket hydraulics and only then will it stop. It could make for a dangerous situation. I appreciate any comments or suggestions you may have.
This is my only implement I have that uses the PTO.

I had a similar issue with my L3200 (and PHD actually). I'd imagine the PTO controls are more or less the same on our machines as most other parts are. Wiggling the PTO lever was a temporary fix. Lubed the cable up & the problem went away. The return spring is a bit weak and/or things weren't sliding well on mine so the PTO gear inside was still being engaged by the cable regardless of the lever position.

Thank you I'll check that out.

+1 one for the same problem on my L3200, just recently. The PTO cable worked to engage the PTO (cable pull) but would not disengage (cable push).
Simple fix - lubed the cable with silicon.

Thanks I got it figured out .I ended up cutting upper tin collar off and using a tie wrap in its place to re secure the upper rubber collar.
Here is a link of issue.
