I added 4 ports to the back of my L3700. I used a Prince stacked valve. The first two sections have float, the third is a normal spring return valve, and the forth is a detent valve. I ran 3/8" hose for all the plumbing.

The stacked valve is actually pretty heavy and I made a mounting plate of 1/4 steel to hold it together. I mounted it so that I still have full access to my cup holder.

The Prince valve uses O-Ring BOSS fittings. I used fittings that converted the O-Ring Boss fittings to JIC male. I used #8 JIC double ended female hoses for all plumbing to keep things consistent with the rest of the tractor.

I painted the valve after assembling it and before plumbing it per many suggestions. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/hydraulics/274388-should-i-paint-my-valve.html

The Prince stacked valve has very tight spacing of the work ports. It is NOT possible to install 90 degree fittings next to each other after the valve is assembled. If you wish to use 90 degree fittings, install them before assembling the valve. An alternative is to use straight O-ring BOSS fittings and 90 degree JIC fittings on top of them (parts - 6400 & 6500 )

Nice install. Looks good.

Did you set the relief on the new valve?

I didn't set the relief pressure on the new valve. The instructions said it was factory set at 2000psi. My primary tractor relief is set at 2500psi.

Is this acceptable?

You can set the new valve to your tractor psi.

If you leave it at 2000 psi, you lose potential force and lifting power.
