Thanks to everyone that shares their knowledge on here. After 2.5 years of reading on tractors I am about ready to buy my first one. I checked out the Yanmar LX4100 and it was too big for my needs...also seemed a little jerky. Also looked at the Kubota MX5100, but it was about the same size and I have a lot of trees on my property(5 acres with some hills). I want something that gets into tighter spots, but still has some power. I am really focused on a L3800 and think it will do just about everything I need. Here are the specs:
- 2013 (no phase 4 emmissions) L3800 HST 4x4, R4 tires ($21.2K)
- LA524 Loader, L2256 66" QA bucket (included)
- BH77 Backhoe & sub-frame, 16" bucket, mechanical thumb ($8.4K)
Rebate of $1.5K. Total before taxes and fees is $29.6K. Does this sound like a decent deal? Don't think I need any remotes. Should I get a stabilizer kit for the BH or anything else I might have over looked? Please let me know. Thanks!
