Kubota L4200 Cab Heater Blower Control Problem

My Kubota L4200 has a factory cab with heat and air. I can only get heat out of the two small round outlets close to the windshield on the ceiling.The 2square adjustable vents that blow into my face always blows cool air.My heater control lever can be moved to turn off the front heat vents but makes no difference on the control of the other vents.If I push the air conditioning button the air flow becomes colder out of the face vents.Has anyone experienced this problem.There are some relays as well as the control switch per my manuel but it is not very detailed.Any Ideas?Has any one taken off the roof for access? Any problems or special precautions to prevent future leaks,Ect. HELP (Freezing In Colorado)

Are you getting HOT air from the round outlets? If not you can easily get the temperature up by placing a solid plastic or cardboard sheet in front of your radiator and behind the AC condenser, where the filter screen normally goes.
I have taken my top off, but not for a winter issue, You might want to do the same thing I did as it GREATLY improved the summer cooling and the winter heating...
The orange plastic roof is the only thing separating the return air from the outside. I got a roll of the double sided foil with "bubble wrap" in between... Any of the building supply outlets have the stuff. Or you can get it for a lot more $ from Hot Rod custom builder sites...
With some 3M spray adhesive cover the inside of the orange roof. It will make a huge difference, plus the snow and ice on your roof will no longer melt and run down the outside of your cab making ice sculptures as it refreezes.
The heater blower Only drives the two adjustable round outlets NOT the rectangular outlet, that is AC only... if you look into it you will see the evaporator. There is a separate "air box" for the heater core and the AC blower. They are not tied together, except for the fact that they are both open to the underside of the roof for their air supply.
With the roof insulated and the radiator blocked you will not be able to run your heater above low speed, it will roast you out. KennyV

Hello Kenny, The heat is great from the 2 small round vents near the windshield.The 2 square retangular vents facing me put out a large volume of cool air which offsets any heat I am getting.When I push the Air Conditioning buttom it gets fridgid so I know the air system is not stuck on.Are there seperate blowers for heat and air? Where does this cool air come from ,is it recirculating? Should I be able to control the air discharged from the square vents?Perhaps I have a stuck damper door as I can move my heat control position level and stop the heat at the round vents but not affect my problem vents whatsever.I let it run for a hour at high blower speed and the cool air overwhelmed the heat and it was still cold I have the factory shop cab manuel which gives very little information.I am at 10,000 foot elevation on top of a Colorado mountain and our weather and winds are extreme.I will follow your advise on insulating the roof and am certain it will help.Appreciate your advise. Ben

Yes they have separate air handeling boxes and separate blowers.
When you have the top off you will immediately see the lay out...
At that altitude I bet you see some cold! Is there a fresh air inlet on your cab?? Some have that and some do not. KennyV
