hello everyone i have a kubota l4200gst that is acting up all of a sudden no drive from gears 5678 but drives from 1-4 but slips if ANY brake press is applied at all I have the service manual so went through all of the tests etc 1st test gst press= 0 2nd test relief valve press in regulator valve=420 psi 3rd test adjust gst system relief valve nothing . at this point I gently backed it out counting the turns of course and tried to remove it and clean it but I couldn't seem to get it out so I put it back in to approx where it was leaving it out slightly so as not to damage anything and continued on with the tests Next test pilot pressure 380 psi Next test measure clutch pack pressure 380 psi also noting pressure increase and drops while going through the gears etc seemed good As per troubleshooting in service manual says clutch pack oh nooooooo ! Driving out of the shop it to remove the loader it starts to work and work perfectly! Whats up with that? Was there possibly some dirt in relief valve? anyway drove it around its fine so wanted to test the gst system pressure to see what it is and to dial in the relief valve and the gauge is 0 ! I looked in the test port hole for gst system pressure and there is an o ring and some kind of a brass plug poss blocking the gauge from reading has anybody come across this I have looked in parts manual phoned dealer etc and nobody seems to know It is working fine but I would really like to dial in the relief valve thanks clanker
