Kubota L4200gtsc,LA680 loader
:confused:I have a Kubota L4200GSTC with 600 hrs. The issue is the 3pt will not raise or will raise slowly, if I raise the loader the 3pt goes up like normal but then the loader will not lower unless I push the down all the way to float I turn the screw on the side down by the step for when the loader is off and the 3pt works fine, while I was under there I noticed the left side cable comming down from the joystick the jamb nut was almost all the way unscrewed I don't no if it just came out of adjustment or if there is a issue inside the loader valve.If I play with the loader joy stick every thing will work fine for a while then its back to the same issue. What do you guys think?
Thanks Jeremy
If it is out of adjustment how do you adjust properly

If you have hyd flow with all valves in neutral, then when you operate the FEL valve, it will or can take all the hyd flow and operate the lift and curl, with the cyl fluid flowing out the tank port.

If your FEL valve does not have PB, when the 3pt is used, at the same time, it will affect the loader.

The FEL should operate normally if there is a flow to tank.

Im not using the 3pt and the loader at the same time, I just tryed to use the loader when the 3pt wouldn't go up to see if the loader worked and when I raised the loader the 3pt went up and after that the loader would not go down unless I pushed the lever all the way to float,

Do you have a pressure gage?

Check all the QD's

Has anyone replaced any hoses?

If the FEL is using all the fluid for FEL operation, then there should be no fluid for the 3pt.

Do you hear any relief valves making noises?

Float sends all fluid to tank.

I don't have a gauge and have not replaced any hoses and no valve noise.
Is there a valve that lets the fluid go back to the tank,I think this is sticking because when I raise the loader it alows the 3pt to go up because the fluid has somewhere to go, and also the loader will not go down to me that would mean the fluid has no where to go.

What is the position of the 3pt valve while using the loader. It should be in neutral.

Maybe bad 3pt valve, but you can check all functions of the valve with a hyd gage.

neutral = no pressure

raise = pressure

valve in relief - pressure.

If the 3pt valve is blocking the hyd flow, it will affect the loader.

Remove the line from the input to the 3pt and add enough hose to feed the output of the hose into the tank. That will take the 3pt out of the circuit.

If the FEL valve return flow to the tank is blocked, loader cyl can't dump fluid.

All returns/tank ports should go to tank unimpeded.

I ask again, does your valve have PB OUT port?

That screw that you turn on the hyd block, is it all the way to the left or right, or centered. That is a selector for the hyd fluid path.

If you have the loader installed, turn the screw fully to the loader position.

I would readjust the cables at the valve and check the return to center springs make sure the spools are at the center point. Also check the linkage at the control handle in the cab.

I think I figuerd out the problum If I curl the bucket back it does not return to center I beleive the return spring is broke. If I hold the joystick in the center everything works fine.Where are the return springs?
Thanks Jeremy:thumbsup:

It was a broken centering spring in the loader valve for the curl and dump ,the spring keeper was broke and you can't order just the keeper you have to order a kit at a $180.00 bucks all I needed was a $2.00 part:mad:
But at least it's fixed
Thanks for the help!:thumbsup:
