Hi gang,
I've been working on adding 3 rear remotes to my L4330 (see thread in "Hydraulics"). As I'm putting everything back together, I notice that the PTO dash indicator doesn't light, and I assume (didn't actually do a visual) that the PTO is not engaging. I figured I had reversed the connections of the two little micro-switches on the PTO lever assembly. So back apart comes the whole lever cover (pain). Checked both switches and they are both stuck at OC and their little stems are frozen solid. I assume that Kubota will want $50+ each for them.
But I took them off their mountings, used a tiny wire brush around the stems, and soaked them for a few minutes with contact cleaner.
THEY BOTH WORK!!
BTW, both switches are identical, same Omron 1013RA C8E-G133 p/n, and same wiring connector, so evidently it really makes no difference which is plugged into which connector.
