Looking for a backhoe for our L4610. Budget and market seems to dictate a 3 point backhoe. We're only going to use it for light duty projects. Probably a shallow trench, and maybe some tree planting. We're find a number of Woods BH 7500-1 and a Kubota L4690B. Any concerns, aside from the 3 point mounting, on these hoes with the tractor? Anything we should make sure we get? HD toplink?

An adjustable rigid toplink is part of the Wood's 3Pt. BH package and comes with it.
I used a Wood's BH750 3Pt BH on my Kubota L4200 for years and sold it along with the tractor when I was ready to purchase my current Kubota.

Pulling the trigger on the woods bh7500-1. Talked to Woods and they "recommend" the subframe kit on their old 3 point models. Sounds like they don't make 3 point models anymore and are trying to avoid liability. $1600 for a subframe on a $3200 backhoe is a bit much for light/limited use.

Yes, that's half the price of the whole BH. Does seam a bit high, even though a sub-frame is the best way to go.
Although I had absolutely no problems with the 3Pt hitch design I used with my old L4200 Kubota for many years. And I did a lot of digging with it. Purchased it new many years ago and used it on three different tractors without a problem.
