Can anyone tell me if the new L4701's have the work light wire already ran to the back? And if so, where is it? I had read on some other post that there is already a wire on some models. I am thinking about adding ROPS worklights and it would be awesome if there is already a wire there.

I found the wire. Does anyone know how many watts you can run off this wire without having to use a relay and a separate power wire and using this wire as the "switch" power? Per my light tester, this wire is hot with the ignition and the light switch has no impact on the power, so I would have to add a separate switch for the work lights. Would like to add 2 front and 1 rear led pods but I am guessing this would be too much to run off this one small wire?

Oh and the wire was under the right fender on mine...

Multiply fuse size by the battery voltage (12) for the wattage. For a ten amp fuse that would be 120 watts. I think you're looking at a relay and an external fuse box or line fuse.

Of you are only adding 1 or 2 circuits (other than whats provided by manufacturer) they have relays that have fuses mounted internal to relay... Simplifies things alot...
