Would anybody know why my front loader.bucket when dumping or lifting. is very jerky.. it seems to have no smooth load or dump action when lifting with the bucket. or dumping with the bucket. Its either full instant dump or loading.. Not smooth or variable control of the bucket at all... Other pistons
seem to be smooth. Is there an adjustment.

I can't think of any adjustments to speed up or slow down the valve action other then the hydraulic oil pressure.

If it persists then it might be air getting into the system or a relief or directional valve sticking.

Most times I recommend a fluid change as well as filter to the manufacturers recommended fluid before attempting to trouble shooting.

Is the valve operated by cables from the joystick? Or is the joystick directly coupled to the valve? Either way, maybe some lubrication would help.

Well it is an auto leveling setup, that someone mentioned could be a problem and im not sure if its connected directly.

How long have you owned the L48? Has it always been like this? How many hours on it?
The experiences I've had with jerky hydraulics, was air in the system both times. Yours could be something else. High hours, old, contaminated fluid could cause it... sticking control valve.. etc.
