First of all I want to say thank you to rbargeron for taking the time to walk me through the hydraulic hook-up, much appreciated! So I have finally finished installing my 5412 backhoe on my L5450. When I purchased the backhoe I noticed the lowest swing pivot was bent and was going to be needing attention, but I guess I didn't realize how bent it was until I got the new swing pin installed(as shown in picture). My question is will I be ok for now to just get a longer bolt to keep the pin from coming out or should I use a jack and attempt to bend it back? Not sure if using the jack will cause the metal to break(or weaken), which I would like to avoid, or maybe it needs to be heated first? I have seen where a JD 410c backhoe had the topmost swing pivot hole stretched to an oval , and then was cut off and a new one welded on, but don' t know if that's what needs to be done. From the size of the pin it currently goes through the bottom bent piece through the next larger piece and barely goes into the last piece. thank you
