Kubota L5740 Rear Tire Width

Does anyone know the rear tire width of the 5470 with R1 Ag tires set to maximum width? Dealer is telling me 68", but others have told me that's the min width, and spec sheet calls out 67.3" as min tread width. I'm looking to size a snow blower greater than the max width. Thanks.

Additional information, dealer says max center to center rear tire width is 60.3". Putting 13.6-28 R1 ag tires makes total outside width about 74", so they claim Kubota factory 74" blower is fine. Any thoughts?

Stick with your dealers spec's..
I have a 5240 w/ R-4's max width is 71.5.
If you have a 74" rear tire spread and a 72 bucket you could be asking for trouble.
I have my manual on my desk, if I can help just ask.

The 5240 is basically the same tractor. The R1 wheels can be reversed to get even wider wheelbase in back, not sure about the R4s. Dealer says center R1 tire possible widths per manual are 48", 52.4", 56.1", 60.3". You add one full tire width to that to get the full rear width. So with a 13.6-28 R1 tire you can get full rear widths of about 61.6", 66", 69.7", 73.9".

What is your concern about 72" bucket with a 74" full rear width? I assume it's rear tires getting out of the way of the material, just like blower being too small.

Mt tractor has the same dimensions as yours, and I run an 84 inch blower. It gives me about 5 inches of coverage to the outside of each rear set at the widest position. You do want that overlap otherwise you get a lot of windrows instead of clean passes. Here's a couple of photos showing the spread of the rears.

I've got a 5740 with R1 tires. They are 72" outer-tread-edge to outer-tread-edge. I run a 74" snow blower which works fine. I considered the 84" when I purchased but went for 74" because of unevenness of my terrain. 84" should work just fine.
