I have similar problem with my new L6060 kubota tractor shutters when backing up slowly with pto on with snowblower. I just changed the hst filter after the 50 hours service and I took my tractor for short run backing up etc... for about 20 minutes and it hasn't shutters yet. Will keep posted if it starts to shutters again.

Final update... A Kubota technical rep came out to my dealership in Sanford, NC to take a look at my tractor and my problem. After alot of talking and driving it around, his opinion was that there was nothing wrong with my tractor and it was operating as designed. I demonstrated the problem to him and he also was able to recreate the issue so there was no doubt as to the concern I have is real. We drove another new L6060 to compare and both of them have the issue, so it is not something on just my tractor. So at this point I have to decide if I can accept the way this tractor operates or not as there is nothing that can be done to change the behavior, which is unfortunate. I will be interested to hear if anyone else notices this behavior on their L6060. I guess I can live with it, and by adjusting some things it has become less noticeable, but it is still there in the background. Thanks for all the posts!

Hello aherring,
I have recently purchased a Kubota l6060, what have you adjusted to your l6060 to minimize the shuttering ? My l6060 shutters and we cannot seem to locate the reason.
Many thanks

In my case, and IMO, the shutter is being caused by the 3-pt hitch holding a load as you drive. A sort of feedback is created as you accelerate/decelerate whereby the weight hanging off the back of the tractor affects the hydrostatic drive. It is esp. noticeable as you slow down or raise/lower the implement as you change speed. Bumpy terrain makes this worse.
We adjusted the tension on the e-pt raise/lower control so that it moves more easily. Also they changed out the mounts for my cab - not sure this did anything though. I have adjusted my driving techniques to minimize the problem as much as I can. Keeping a loader on helps a little bit. Hope you have more luck than I did.

Wow you seem to have my situation bang on.
How did you adjust the tension?
Were you able to-do this yourself? Or do I have to go to the dealer for this adjustment ?
Thank you for your help

The dealer did it for me. I seem to remember seeing a bolt at the bottom of the lever. You have to remove some of the plastic/vinyl that covers it. Loosening the bolt a bit let the lever move more freely, and this helped.
You should also see if adjusting you 3-pt lowering speed valve helps.

Thank you Alex.
I have adjusted the speed at which the 3 point hitch raises and lowers.
I will look into the bolt . I assume it is under the seat next to the speed adjuster for lifting the 3 point hitch?
The tractor goes into the dealer in a few months, waiting for winter to be officially over.
Many thanks as always. Will let you know how it goes.

UPDATE:
Well it took a while but My l6060 no longer shutters when lifting the 3 point hitch.
My dealer had to remove the linkage that goes from the lever to the 3 point hitch and replace it with a cable.
All done no shutter.
