- Kubota B2400
I have a Kubota B2400 with the LA351 front end loader. The hydraulic control block is a "newer" version of the original HUSCO (it was replaced some years ago). The problem is that that I no longer have "down" pressure on the boom. I used to be able to pick the front end up off the ground. When I go to the down pressure position, I can hear a slight change in the engine like it would like too but just doesn't have the juice. The other thing is that (same spool) the control will push down into float position with some effort and takes some real force to pop it out of float.. hard, it goes off with a loud snap sound. I have pulled it apart and cleaned it, there was some moisture contamination, so I cleaned the scum out and changed trans fluid and filter. Any ideas? Spool rebuild kits at $140 a piece. Not even sure that is the answer. A Husco replacement block is $850!! For this kind of money I am really tempted to try getting a $100 dual spool hyd controller. I don't mind two levers.. grew up with them. Any thoughts there? Thanks for your consideration.
