The rubber covering on my TL420,
B20 Kubota hoses seem to start failing at the same time. Once cracked exposing the fiber braids didn’t take long to fail. Replaced the first few locally. Then ordered all the rest, two wire, Gates hose from
Surplus Center. Hoses had an tough guard covering. Most were jic fittings, 6 or 8. Online guides and experience helped decide the proper fittings. A few hoses like for the curl cylinders were a couple inches longer than the OEM but worked fine.
Certainly saved $$$ and got premium hoses. The hydraulic shop has several hose grades and will upgrade at your request. Bringing your old hoses and letting them make new is the easier but expensive way. Auto shops and TSC use the basic grade hose.
Have a gauge to monitor loader lift pressure. While the pump side has pressure reliefs, down stream from the loader valve can see dynamic pressures of 6,000psi. Good reason to use two wire hose.
Word of caution. Had a hose to the remotes fail on a 80s Kubota during hay season. Removed hose and took it to Bobcat dealer close by and they made a new one. Did not fit. They refunded and went to a hydraulic shop. One end had British pipe taper threads. Got the right hose but lost the day light. Just be cautious of any hydraulic taper fittings going into a Kubota part.
