Does the tractor have a loader? if so are the hydraulics working OK for the loader?

Do you know any of the history of the maintenance on the tractor ? unless it was done recently I would change the filter(s) clean the strainer etc. and replace with all new fluid...2 Gal. jugs of k_ubota compatible hydraulic fluid can be had at wal-mart or Tractor Supply for about $25... check Messick's for filters...

What position is the the 3ph in now? all the way up? all the way down?
If the lift arms are all the way up and the "drop rate knob" is locked down it would act like a non-functioning 3ph...!

If the arms are down manually lift and block them up with a 2x4 etc...then lock the (drop rate) knob down and remove the 2x4 etc...the arms should stay up against downward force...if they drop it indicates other (internal) issues...

BTW, if you are unfamiliar with the "drop rate" knob it is in the front of the seat
(usually between the calves of the operator)...the knob regulates the rate of fall (gravity) for the 3ph arms...many transporters lock down the 3ph if there is an implement attached when transporting etc...

Good luck and welcome from N.E. GA...hang in there...better days await...!

Ok I will let all you know. There is people in this world that say they are good with stuff, The guy that i got the tractor from told me he rebuilt the hyd pump so of course i looked at everything but the pump and it was still no go. So last on list i remove the pump I very carefully take it apart Lord why i was so careful ill never know. i could have put a stick of dynamite in that thing and would not have hurt it as bad as he did. it looked like he put the rubber seal in the den with a beaver for 2 weeks. the brass bushings well let say he had 2 tools a hammer and a hatchet. in no way can i rebuild this pump. The only good thing on this pump is the bolts that holds the cap on. So i bought a new pump and wala it works great. In closing in anybody says they fixed it look there first. Kubota L245DT back from the dead.
