I'm rebuilding the lift cylinders on my dads bf300a. There is a part on the piston that I can't figure out how to get off. Its called the piston gasket. I'm stuck. Can I get some help please. I'm gonna take some pictures sometime today. Thanks.

Is this seal at end of life rod usually about 1/4 " wide . If so a small screw driver to pry up and then slip off the metal seating slot. to install new heat the seal to about 180 deg. in water then quickly install.
Might look in Hydro. section for more loader seal problems and fixes.
