Kubota M5040DT-1 vs the M5640

I was looking at the M5040 models and the M5640 was suggested to save $.
Not as many bells and whistles supposedly.
Any advice on the difference for the $ saved?

i think the thing that stands out the most for me is that the 5040 has fully synchronized trans, and is has the option of the hydro shuttle shift.
there are prob. other things that make one stand out over the other but for me that would be the big diff.
