I bought 2013 M59 with 130 hours on it. Startup stumble and smoke was pronounced in Colorado at 8000'. Service manager suggested new injectors could be required. This didn't sound good to my ears. When I hauled it to Kansas last month, I stopped in Pueblo to demonstrate a cold start at the dealership (5000'). Started perfect with no stumble. Tractor sat in KS (2000') without running for a month and started yesterday on the first turn with zero stumble and very little smoke. My conclusion is that the EGR setup with the required timing doesn't like high elevation very good, although after it quits stumbling and smoking, it runs perfect even at 8000'.
