Richard, my Kubota dealer is about twice the distance from another Kubota dealer. The one closest to me sounds like yours, act like they are doing you a favor talking to you and you have to go in and ask to see a salesman. I really tried to work with them as I use to be in the same town five days a week, but just a no go.

Larry and TripleR - are you near Kahoka, MO at all? I just went to Wiss & Wiss and so far am very impressed.

Sorry, I meant Richard and TripleR. Jerry quoted me $48,000 for an m8560 cab, mfwd, FEL, ballast, 8 sp trans, delivery; but thanks to this thread you've helped me with several other very important options, since this will be a 20+ year purchase. Jerry, the owner, seemed like as honest and straight of a dealer as I've ever seen and he had inventory available right there.

I'm about as far from Kahoka, MO as you can get and still be in MO, way, way south. The price seems pretty reasonable. I know you didn't ask, but I would strongly recommend the 12/12 over 8/8.

I'm with Larry, highly recommend 12spd. Not sure what your uses are, but I use the crap outta my hydraulics. I have 3rd function on the front and 3 rear remotes. Right now my tractor has something connected to all of them.

One thing I wish they offered is a low rpm PTO option. Can't think what JD calls it?? E-Pto or something like that. I could easily run my 10' brushcutter at a reduced rpm and save quite a bit of fuel.

I gave $43.5 for my M9540 open station, 12spd, cast iron rear centers, radial tires, LA1353 FEL, 3rd function on front, 3 rear remotes. I since added 2spd PTO for another $1200 if I remember correctly.
